| About the International Law Video Library |
|
The International Law Video Library brings material from around the world to one location and was conceived as a tool to assist people in contextualizing their understanding of international law by making available, over the internet, videotaped sequences of specific themes within the discipline of international law. The Video Library is intended for those individuals that have an interest in issues of international law and who would like to gain wider understanding of the topic. By providing videoclips of interviews with experts in the field, and allowing them to speak about their areas of interest and specialization, various perspectives of the study and practice of international law are allowed to emerge. Beyond speaking to experts, field visit are taped to allow students of international law to 'see' various institutions or locations which make up part of the evolution of international law, and thus gain further insights into the mechanisms and pedigree of international law. The Library was officially lauched in 2006 with funding provided by Queen's University of Belfast. Enjoy Jean Allain |
